Rome is one of the most beautiful cities i’ve ever seen. It’s a city frozen in time, a city that is one of a kind. It’s filled with history, good food, and amazing views. Other than the incredible food, all of the different main structures and monuments i visited in my days in Rome were so beautiful! On my first day in the city, i wore my blue and white Sailor dress paired with Prada sunnies and my new white sandals. I got to see the Colosseum, the Roman Forums, the Pantheon, and roam around the different Piazza’s. Unfortunately, some works were going on at the Trevi Fountain so i couldn’t really do the typical touristic thing of throwing a coin behind my back and make a wish. After a long first day, treated with tasty Italian Gelato, i was incredibly exhausted. A small tip if you ever do go to Rome: wear comfortable shoes that you can walk 5 hours in! In between walking through Rome, i did get a little bit of shopping done. Who wouldn’t try to buy some clothes in Italy’s fashion capital? On the second day, we got to visit Vatican City and drive up to the top point of Rome, a place called Gianicolo, where the whole city can be seen. Being in Italy for almost 3 weeks, all i’ve been eating is pasta, pizza, mozzarella, prosciutto, sea food, italian chocolates and gelato. Im letting you know, Italy isn’t the place to visit if you’re planning on going on a diet or trying to cut down on some foods. It’s a place you get to enjoy food and taste all the different mouthwatering dishes you might not get to eat in other countries. Every time i visit Italy, i fall in love with it all over again and Rome is a city everyone must visit once in their life. After a few days in Italy’s wonderful capital, it’s time to head up North to Siena!
