Travels

Traveling is one of the greatest joys in life and we both are fortunate enough to experience it. We travel to many different places and find happiness in wondering endlessly through them while exploring beyond the limit. Every place is special in it’s own way and we are glad to share the places we find special with everyone. Both of us have a serious case of wanderlust. There is so much the world has to offer and we are here to let it conquer as much of our hearts as possible.

Burning Feet and Beautiful Views - School work has started to cool down after my mock exams, which means I have more time to do what I love most, blog here on Niedsano! Lost Fossils - Sometimes, it just takes a map and the right people to find something unique out there in the world! This past weekend, my friends and I, with their cat Panda, got to explore a hidden place outside of Abu Dhabi. It was quite the discovery, finding old rock formations and animal skulls in the middle […]
Seven in Heaven - 7 girls, 6 days, 5 nights, 1 big city. Responsibilities but no expectations, Welcome to Barcelona. This unforgettable trip to a beautiful Spanish city was definitely one of the best things that has happened this summer. As much fun as I had fun travelling around Holland and Brussels, nothing can compare to my time spent […]
Delft Vintage in Delft - Delft was the last city I visited in Holland, but it was actually my favourite. It’s one of the cities known for producing beautiful pottery know has Delftware, perhaps their most famous pieces are the cute little houses people can get on the KLM planes (Would definitely recommend to get a few for yourself!) However, […]
Utrecht Laced in Utrecht - For the second part of my Holland trip series, I got to visit a cute town called Utrecht. This city is mostly known for being a student-based city, with more than 20,000 students. It’s surrounded by colorful buildings, flowers, kind people, and amazing food. We took a walk around the center, exploring the different parts […]
A weekend in Amsterdam - For the first part of my Holland trip series, I’m going to share with you my experience in Amsterdam, one of the craziest cities i’ve been too in Europe! Amsterdam is an exciting and thrilling city, filled with so many different things to do for both locals and tourists. Even though most of the people […]
Hunting for Treasure - After walking around town, you enter a boutique store in Brussels, attracted by a nostalgic presence. As you pass through the door, BOOM you’re back into the twenties with Haute Couture pieces from Chanel and Lanvin, Dior and Louis Vuitton from the 1940’s, and even some Moschino pieces from the more present 1980’s. It’s a […]
Escaping the AD heat - My first stop this summer is Brussels, the capital of Belgium. Since my grandparents live here, my family and I try to pay a visit at least once a year. It’s such a beautiful city, so green yet very cold compared to Abu Dhabi. This past week hasn’t been warmer than 16 degrees, which is a […]
NYUAD: Women Riding in the Sand - It’s been a busy couple of weeks but thankfully Spring Break is starting next week and I can’t wait to finally get some rest and go back to Russia! Last weekend I got to go to a Student Production theatre performance at New York University Abu Dhabi called Women Riding in the Sand. The performance […]
Around the World in One Day - When I first heard about Global Village last year, I didn’t think it was going to be big nor that amazing, but when I finally went to visit, I realised how wrong I was. Global Village is one of the coolest and fun places in Dubai where you can shop, listen to good music, and […]
Sheikh Zayed Mosque - Before 2015 was over, I had one thing left on my wish list, to visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque. I’ve been there a couple of years ago, but didn’t quite have the time to visit after it’s renovation. So on the last few days left in 2015, I decided to take a visit to the […]
Habitat for Humanity: India - My Habitat for Humanity trip to Pondicherry India was absolutely incredible. It was such a crazy and eye opening adventure, but had its obstacles here and there along the way. First off, as my group gets through the final checkpoint to get on the plane, the lady at the front desk tells me I don’t […]
Bruges - Bruges is one of the main cities in Belgium. Its a beautiful city filled with flowers, little boutiques, water canals, and horses. It’s know as the Venice of the North because it’s a canal based city. Other than boats, there are also horses everywhere. People can ride on a carriage and get a tour around […]
Florence - An Italian author named Barbara Conelli once said, When life gives you twists and turns, chique yourself up in Italy. Florence is the perfect get away city to get lost in Italian history, architecture, art, style, and of course food. The city itself surprised me. It’s so unbelievably beautiful and i got upset that we only […]
Siena - Siena is another Italian city that is filled with art, museums, good food, and the Palio, a horse race that happens only twice a year. I was so impressed with it’s old streets and beautiful old houses. The main centre point called the Piazza del Campo is huge and holds the Palio horse race. The […]
