Green Smoothie

Sometimes, all you need in life is a day where you can relax by the poolside, tan, and sip up a freshly made green smoothie. Green smoothies or smoothies in general are easy to make and are very healthy, depending on what you put inside. I sometimes tend to put in some ice cream or chocolate but usually I stick with my fruits and veggies. There are so many benefits that you get from just drinking a green smoothie. They provide pure nutrition, since many fruits and vegetables are filled with vitamins, and are a long lasting energy source. They are also packed with disease-fighting antioxidants! I’m in love with smoothies and always enjoy making them especially when experimenting with different kinds of tastes. Become a healthier you and start blending in the kitchen!



Here is one of my own green smoothie recipes that anyone can follow:

  • ½ cup of ice
  • 1 table spoon of honey
  • 3 apples
  • 2 kiwis
  • ½ cup of water
  • A couple of mint leaves (2-3)

or this one:

  • 2 cups of fresh spinach
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 cup melon 
  • 1 cup of mango
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 table spoon of honey or organic maple syrup
